Who is Beardog?

Beardog is BayAnime.com’s official mascot, modeled as a cross between a Japanese Akita Inu and a bear. His interests include anime, manga, video games, music, mini golf, web surfing, go-karting, and sleeping. His favorite foods are ice cream and broccoli. You can often hear him playing drums and barking along to various J-Pop CDs late into the night.
Beardog is an original character created by Ann Oyama and Joachim Müller-Lancé. This official Beardog portrait as well as the illustration of Beardog featured on the front page were drawn by Joachim Müller-Lancé of Kame Design.
