i've got the viz versions of angel of death and angel of victory (both bought in the late 90's). they're not in mint condition but still in decent shape imho. i can send you a pic if you're interested.

Does anyone know if the new Viz reprint ends with the redone "Gunnm: Complete Edition" ending (that continues with Last Order) or is it the same original series ending?

woah, i've only got the first 3 volumes of the "complete edition", and i didn't know they explicitly changed the ending just for last order. i thought the timeline just dropped the last volume in the original 9-volume japanese run. i'm a little bummed actually because the large print and extras in the complete edition are very nice, and i really liked the original ending.
speaking of which, anyone know where to get the rest of the "complete edition" volumes?Posted 3 years ago # -
Hey Mike, didn't know you could read Japanese! Ah you're right, there's no new ending in the complete edition, just the tech notes and side stories... but it does eliminate the original ending although I'm not sure if it corresponds exactly to vol 9 of the original series collection. Anyway I'd recommend Amazon Japan:
Somehow the Amazon marketplace international shipping rates are pretty cheap, so you can get a good condition used volume shipped to the U.S. for less than the retail price of the book new.
