Well we have one of these topics for anime, so I figured I'd make one for manga too. Also I just finished Bokurano and want to talk about it somewhere.

Bokurano was... it started off really exciting and sad, a very interesting look at how different people act when faced with death (in mecha form!). But near the end of the series, it just became very bland to me. Maybe it had something to do with the sporadic release of scanlations, maybe I was expecting more out of the series, maybe I was expecting less, but the final 3 or 4 character storylines I cared nothing about. For what the story was, they tried to force together too many connections and prolong the natural end for too many chapters. If I recall, the anime, although it ended slightly differently, suffered the same problem in my eyes.

  2. The last manga I fully finished was the Takahashi Rumiko anthology. I've read other manga since then, but technically, I haven't finished them since they're still ongoing (or I haven't managed to buy all the volumes yet). In that category would be:
Yotsuba To! (although it's kind of a different feel, I'd say that anyone who enjoyed Azumanga Daioh will like this)
    Naruto
Hagane no Renkin Jutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist)
    Bleach
    Inuyasha
Death Note (I got stuck around volume 6 or 7 when they start doing all the corporate board meetings, and my Japanese isn't good enough to get me through that part)

Dramacon from Svetlana Chmakova. Recommended. It rocked. It was funny and romantic. Really unique and beautiful art. Before that was RG Veda from Clamp. That was good too, if you can borrow it. Kind of epic. Lots of character developement. Before that was Ashiteruze Baby. That was also romantic and funny. Recommended.
Currently reading Nightschool from Chmakova, Bleach, Chobits, Fruits Basket, Kami Kaze, Kare Kano, Tsubasa, XXXholic, Blade of the Immortal, and Naruto (Naruto, you're annoying). Yes it's true, I have a thing for Clamp.
So far, I'd have to say Dramacon was my favorite. Then Blade, Fruits Basket, and Kami Kaze. Though to be honest, I've liked them all.
