What was the last anime series you completed?

Sorry, didn't like Ef much... a little though. It felt rushed; too short. But for other Kanon-esque anime, I'd recommend the other 2 series by the same studio (Key I think). They did Air and Clannad. Air almost made my favorites list... but didn't. And I already wrote my complaint about Clannad earlier.
I don't like that all 3 series have similar looking characters, and similar story structures, but I really liked the little references they put in each series about their other series. I think these little "easter eggs" for us to find give them more replay value. For example, after seeing such an "easter egg" in Clannad After Story, it got me wondering. So I watched part of Kanon again and realized there may have been another reference to Air in Kanon that I never noticed before (its kinda vague so it may just be wishful thinking on my part, but what the heck, its fun).

I just finished Gundslinger Girls... I actually really liked it! ^.^v

Yeah, I saw Gunslinger Girls about a year ago. I found the complete series at the Japan town video store and bought it at a good price. I really got my money's worth. I like that the anime explored the effects of how being turned into a weapon affected the assassins. I saw it at the same time as Elfen Lied, so I always associate them. They both had a sense of sadness and possiblity that I thought was well balanced.
