    yes, "Asteriods" the classic wireframe video game on the Atari is becoming a movie....WTF indeed.

    Apparently, Universal landed the movie rights to it:

    As long as there's a scene where someone falls off something only to reappear at the top of the screen I will consider this worth my $12.
