Hi Usagi! Welcome to BayAnime! ^_^ Can you tell us a bit about your group, Animemyu?
Posted 3 years ago # -
Certainly I can ^_^.
Animemyu is a non for profit group whose main goal is to create bridges between cultures and to bring back hope to the children and to those who watch our shows , using the japanese animation as a medium.
We believe that by sharing our heart on stage with our audience we can connect and maybe change the world a little for the better. animemyu has done shows primarily as community service at fairs, festivals, parades and japanese animation festivals, and this year One of our wishes came true usagi was invited down to mexico tijuana to do a 1 hour concert in japanese as sailor moon for the Mexican audience.^_^
animemyu's dream is to inspire others to help people in their communities.
maybe a question you might be wondering is how much we charge? the answer is nothing, because to our group the children's, familes and cosplayers smiles are enough payment for us ^_^
So how do we afford our costumes then? We use recycled materials from old costumes or like me we save for 1 year until we have enough to buy materials to make our costumes by hand ^_^
So how do we have enough money for the show? We are sponsored by caring individuals such as japan video and media who donates the use of the sound system and others donate bubbles for the kids.
