Hello All~!

(7 posts)
  1. Hi everyone~!

    I'm foxberry, I'm sort-of-new to cosplay and the convention scene, I say this because I've only started cosplaying since Memorial Day weekend 2009 and I've moved to the Bay Area not too long ago, July.

    However I have been into anime since I was 15, my first anime was Sailor Moon and I still cherish it till this day. I'm 26 now and I enjoy various other things outside of anime and cosplay; some which include art and writing as well as "old-school" text-based roleplay (multi-paragraphs which were more common during yahoo's roleplay golden age haha).

    In any case I'm looking forward to meeting new people!

    Isn't that how fourm-based roleplaying is now?

  3. Thank you~!

    Actually not really, at least from what I've seen. .___.; So much forum based rp I see are onelined rp that's done with chat speech and no thought put into it. Gaia, Menewsha and even yahoo groups, amongst others really seem to lack.

  4. Hi Foxberry! Welcome to BayAnime! I'm out of town at the moment, but I'll be scheduling another meetup this month when I get back. Where in the Bay Area do you live? Did you attend AOD?

  5. Hello Ann;

    Thank you for the nice greetings~! That sounds awesome. I live in Daly City; not too far from SF. I also attended AOD, I cosplayed Manga!Stein and Thermal Bandages!Leeloo Dallas, since most people'll remember the cosplay before my ID. X3

  6. Hey Foxberry! I took a picture of you at the con as Leeloo! Still need to get those pics up here on the site...

    Awesome that you live around SF. I'm going to plan another BayAnime meetup soon; they usually happen in Japantown on a Saturday night, so hope you can make it!
