haha i have to admit that i was a little more excited when i thought "the noodles" meant a lunch meetup @ 1:30..
nevertheless, i will be there in japantown for the event. :)

Argh! Just found out I have a wedding to go to that day around 3pm in Palo Alto. I'll be at the grand opening for as long as I can tho, and will definitely have lunch with you all!
Wonder how crowded it will be...?

So... where exactly should we meet on Saturday? Is there somewhere in the Japan Center or elsewhere we should gather just before 11 am or so? I'm thinking there will be a big crowd right in front of the store itself before the opening ceremony and it might be difficult to meet each other there. Any suggestions?

I have a sizeable group meeting up at powell BART. I asked Ann about this before, and she just said she wanted to play it by ear, so my tentative plan is just to head to Jtown with my group there, and people can call me (415.717.8209) to meet up with us.

Hey everyone, I posted this earlier:

According to the map and schedule that's about where the grand opening ceremony is taking place.
I was thinking maybe the information booth (off to the right of the building on the map) would be a good meetup point...
