   Ryan here. Sorry for bailing early from the outing. Lactic acid build-up and all, y'know?

   Anyway, this week Jenny and I checked-in with the people at the campus bookstore about putting up a club ad in the manga section. After a while of bureaucratic goodness, we got the ok for next semester. Just give the ad to a bookstore staffer by the name of Ken, and he'll take care of it.

   Club mascot(s). The idea was proposed by ex-President Sakura last Spring, as a way of making the club more "receptive" to newcomers. Like O'Brian in 1984 said, "it's easier to listen to a face than a group." At first.

   Okay, bad example. But the idea is there. Jessie seems to like it.

   Hmm...this is going to be an important little project for the club and we need to be sure to discuss it at the next officer meeting whenever that will be.

   That might not be for a couple weeks, though, so why not discuss it on the fourm? I'll start: I don't think the mascot should, if the club decides to get one, be a known animal. Go for the exotic and/or humanoid.

   The AnimeFX club logo should be a cartoon-ish version of my face being punched with a tagline like

   "Anime FX, hang out with other anime fans and punch out the president, everyone wins!"
