Hi everyone,
I'm a total manga nut, and I'm looking for complete sets of manga to take off your hands. I will pay $4-6 per book. I'm mostly into shoujo and josei if you've got it. I live up near Santa Rosa, but go to SF and the east bay often.
Send me a PM.
Thanks!

Do you like anime and manga style? Would you like to make your own manga comics or learn how to draw anime style? Would you like some professional and authentic manga instruction? Then look no further, whether it is for professional or personal enrichment, the only authentic Japanese manga class is here for you in San Jose. We are located by Saratoga and Moorpark Avenue in San Jose by Kahoo restaraunt, and close to Kinokuniya Bookstore. Our class workshops are offered Wednesdays and Fridays at 4PM. Children's class is Saturdays at 6 PM. Materials and books are provided, and we are here to help you succeed in the field of comics. We are here to help coach your skill, offer advice and tips to enhance your artwork.

Our classes are $12.00 for one drop in session for kids, and $15.00 for young adults and up.

Please support the Japanese Art and Cultural Center. We are a non-profit organization. We are in dire need for some students. Our classes Wednesdays and Fridays at 4 are empty, but we will help you as much as we humanly can. The children's class at 6:00 PM on Saturdays is also offered. If we do not get enough people who can attend the weekday class, unfortunately, we would have to shut the class down on the weekdays. We also offer private instruction as well.

I hope this message gets to many people, since this is a community Cultural Center of San Jose. Let's please support this, and take advantage of helping out, for the sake of keeping the center alive. We are looking for sponsors and also donations to keep the center up and running. JACC also offers traditional Japanese karate, kendo, judo, aikido, kyudo, iaido, bo-jutsu, fine arts, language and exercise classes. One free trial class is available.

Hi everyone~!

I'm foxberry, I'm sort-of-new to cosplay and the convention scene, I say this because I've only started cosplaying since Memorial Day weekend 2009 and I've moved to the Bay Area not too long ago, July.

However I have been into anime since I was 15, my first anime was Sailor Moon and I still cherish it till this day. I'm 26 now and I enjoy various other things outside of anime and cosplay; some which include art and writing as well as "old-school" text-based roleplay (multi-paragraphs which were more common during yahoo's roleplay golden age haha).

In any case I'm looking forward to meeting new people!
