I wasn't immediately hooked but I must admit that the show has gradually grown on me. </p> <p>After the first few episodes I began thinking about Spike's character and how he reminded me of a "wandering samurai" anitihero archetype. What was kinda cool was at the same moment that I came to this realization the following scene occured. In episode 3 in the casino there was a scene where patrons watched a black and white samurai flick while Spike walked casually by and jingled chips in one hand and then Spike paused to look at the screen. His Martial arts talent is suspect at best, and his demeanor can be percieved as anywhere from stoned indifference,to bonafide idiocy.
