Panel Overview:
Gathering, brainstorming, and discussion panel for local Bay Area anime fans! Make new friends! We’ll be generating ideas and brainstorming solutions for how to improve anime-oriented activities in the Bay Area. We’ll discuss things like getting special discounts at local shops, starting new and enhancing existing anime groups and activities, how to get involved in your local anime community, making industry connections in the Bay Area, and anything else the attendees can think of!

After the panel, from 12-1pm, some of us from No-Name Anime ( http://bayanime.com/no-name-anime/ ) plan to hang out on the first floor of the convention center near the entrance to the Marriott (below most of the convention). This isn’t an official FanimeCon activity, but any of the BayAnime folks are welcome to join us.
Thanks to everyone who attended our panel yesterday! I’d love to plan more events like this in the future, but hopefully in a less formal and more social setting where we all can talk to each other over some food and/or drink…
