Fuji Telecast and Production Company (Fuji TV) has been providing English-subtitled Japanese programming to Northern California since February 20, 1972. They have been showing the “Taiga Drama” series of historical Japanese dramas to viewers for over 30 years, and also annually air the New Year’s special Red and White Singing Competition (Kouhaku Utagassen).

Fuji TV broadcasts on KTSF Channel 26 on Saturdays from 8:30pm until midnight.

Tokyo Television will be showing the 2006 Japanese Academy Award winning film, Hula Girls, on local television via KTSF Channel 26. The movie will be broadcast in two parts; part 1 will air on Sunday, October 19th at 8:30pm and part 2 will air a week later on Sunday, October 26th at the same time. In Japanese with English subtitles.

Tokyo Television Broadcasting Corporation (TTV) is a Japanese media company in the SF Bay Area providing Japanese programs since 1976. Their programming includes daily morning and evening news (FCI News and NHK News 7), drama, music, quiz, and cooking shows, and seasonal special programs. They broadcast on KTSF Channel 26.

Local channel 26 KTSF provides Japanese television programming to the Bay Area.
TTV covers news every weekday in the morning and evening, and airs Japanese shows on Sundays from 8:30pm until midnight. Fuji TV broadcasts their Japanese programming on Saturday evenings also from 8:30pm until midnight.

Coverage areas include San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Marin County, Napa Valley, Richmond, San Mateo, San Jose, Stockton, and some parts of Sacramento.
