The Japan Exchange Society was founded in 2004 in order to bring together native Japanese people and others interested in Japanese language and culture. Through shared experiences, members learn to understand and appreciate each other to build lasting friendships.

Meetings and Activities

The Japan Exchange Society meets in Cupertino and San Mateo several times each month. In addition, we organize events for members to socialize and have fun. Past events include bowling, hiking, laser tag, beach bonfires, sake tasting, sporting events, and many more!

The San Francisco Japanese Language Group is a successful group of Japanese enthusiasts that meets in real life at least once a month for social events. We are a group of Japanese learners, speakers, professionals, and students.

As a member you will have a chance to learn and practice your Japanese, teach Japanese, and socialize with people interested in the Japanese language and culture.
