BAAU: a collective group of artists located in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, devoted to the personal and professional growth of those within our community.
Joining BAAU: is as easy as attending a meet. We are a pretty easy-going bunch of people. Skill level doesn’t matter; just a passion, a passing interest, or even a mere curiosity for art is enough for us. Find out about the next meet at the BAAU forum: baau.org/forum/.
At BAAU meets: we hang out, draw, chat, play video games, whatever there is to do depending on the surroundings. Sometimes we work on comics, have tutorials, or just eat a bunch of fast food in a crowded noisy mall.

CA-West is a non-profit disorganization dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of Japanese Animation. We’re the oldest continuously-running anime club in the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in fan-subtitles of new and classic shows that have not been released (so far) in the U.S., with estimated ratings of PG-13 or lower. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 11AM to 5PM at the Campbell Public Library. (Check the calendar to make sure that library operations haven’t preempted us.) Meetings are free and open to the public.
Cal Animage Alpha is UC Berkeley’s anime club. They have free anime showings every Monday from 7-10 PM that are open to the public. Game Night is every Thursday at 7:30 PM.
For a $10 fee you can become a CAA member and acquire various benefits such as library access, entitlement to their weekly newsletter, entry into raffles (6th and 13th week), and pizza during their anime marathon at the end of the year.

Foothill Anime is the official anime club for Foothill College in Los Altos, meeting on the first Sunday of every month. Our schedule leans towards intricate drama, sci-fi, and intrigue — but frantic comedy, shojo romanticism, and darker tones have a place as well! Come join us for a friendly atmosphere, quality programming, and possibly a prize or two.
Foothill Anime is kindly sponsored by KFJC 89.7 FM.
