It’s our annual Halloween showing! We’ll be watching Detroit Metal City in 2040 VLSB from 7-10 PM. We’ll also be showing another exciting episode of Kurenai and another hilarious episode of Goodbye, Mr. Despair Extreme.
Detroit Metal City tells the story of a young aspiring musician wanting to make it big in the city of Tokyo. Through multiple twists of fate, he becomes the lead singer of the ultra popular underground heavy metal rock band, the Detroit Metal City. Hilarity ensues.
This show is not for the faint of heart. It features awesome uncensored swearing and awesome raunchy humor. I dare say this is our most “mature” showing this semester.
We will also be having our annual Halloween Cosplay Contest, with fabulous prizes to be announced. If you want either music or an image shot up on the screen make sure you bring it along with you or speak to us before the contest begins. See you there.
